About Satu
Satu’s fascination with food started early on when she was eager to help her grandmother to weed the vegetable beds, not always successfully mind you, and turn the red, white, and black currents and gooseberries to tasty juices, pies and jams. Satu’s dad, a keen fisherman, led regular family foraging trips to Finnish forests for blueberries, lingonberries and wild mushrooms. Fresh and home-cooked foods were full of flavor and essential part of every meal. The many allergies and food intolerances Satu and her father had, were kept under control without any major drama.

Quote Fast forward from those carefree days of 60s and 70s to 21st century and 25 odd years in the corporate world, managing sales, marketing and operations with expertise in business change and leadership of global programmes for improved efficiencies and profits, Satu is now focusing on benefits the right food choices bring to us as individuals to achieve our goals in life.

Over the years, Satu has gained useful insight from living in many countries, and seeing first hand the impacts and ‘injuries’ various diets, excessive TV dinners and lifestyle choices have on people. Her personal experience of the demands the executive level corporate environment places on one and fatigue that follows from burning the midnight oil has given her practical strategies for those on the run. Nutrition and lifestyle choices play a critical role in recovery and sustainable wellbeing.

With a MSc in Personalised Nutrition, Satu is well placed to draw on her experiences and nutrition education to recommend evidence-based and individually tailored dietary and lifestyle programmes for individuals in their quest for improved wellbeing.
